Very nice. I'm considering a similar build (CWM + Black/Bordeaux interior) but instead of the black tires and roll bar I'm going with Carrera Exclusive Design wheels painted high gloss black and silver roll bar. I'm also thinking about the red top to match the calipers. I'm mixed on the clear lights but it looks very nice on your build. The only thing I would change is not blacking out "PORSCHE" in the rear and changing the model designation to "911" in high gloss black but these are nits...beautiful build!

Good question. I have a call into my dealership, because I received an email this morning of all their 2021 Porsche allocations, however no Targas were on the list. Thanks

Default Possible allocation 1st quarter 2021

We have not yet received an allocation for a Targa.

Please keep in mind that we are a relatively small dealer (around 250 new cars per year) and in an area that doesn’t have a high volume of 911’s. As such, we don’t get a lot of allocation for 911’s relatively speaking.

I did call our Porsche rep to ask when we can reasonably expect to see a Targa allocation and although he couldn’t say for sure, he stated that we realistically wouldn’t see an allocation until the first quarter of 2021.

Unfortunately, Porsche allocation is based solely on turn and earn and as a small dealer we simply don’t get a lot of cars.

I’ll keep you posted on updates.

This is only going to drive the ADM conversation on Targas now. Silly...

Thanks for the info. I'd like to take delivery early next spring, so that timing sounds good.

Hope allocations come soon.

Have to make one last comment on the dealership experience, it was all over the board, from super responsive, to me chasing / begging, and people basically saying buzz off. Deposit requests ranged from $1,000 to 25% of upgrades...I went with the best experience and however not the cheapest.

Now have to figure out ceramic coating options (I will use the other threads for those questions)

All the best,
Why would you put a deposit down without an allocation? Way too open ended for me...

Simple, locked price, guaranteed the first allocation, deposit is held by giving a credit card with out charging against it. thxs

I put a $500 deposit down well over a year ago to be first in line for a Targa. I added $2000 to it last month when I ordered the car. My reasoning was the same as BigLoue.
