But then I remembered (thanks to this thread) it has finished production (basically) and I should have a VIN # by now, so I checked my.porsche.com and it NOW has Track My Dream for my 992. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, my delivery date has slipped back about a week to Aug 7th. I am hoping that my car doesn't really have to sit in Emden for 3 weeks.

I do NOT have any real pictures of it being made either, which would be awesome. Hang in there (it's not like we have much of a choice anyway).
Thanks much. I check My Porsche daily just in case, but the problem is that they are also not communicating with the dealers. I think that Porsche Connect is not managed well in NA.

Dan, did you ever get TYD to work for your order? I'm curious because I have an order and have yet to be connected to the TYD functionality of the app/website. Thank you for any suggestions.

Yes, but it took getting customer service involved. Phone or write to them. It took me three tries. Also, can your SA and ask him to double check if/how they made the request. Also ask your SA to follow up with Porsche. It takes a lot of babysitting, but it was worth it to me. Besides, it’s something to do while you are waiting, lol.

I called Porsche NA and they said it would take them up to 7 business days before I received the TYD email. I received it an hour later and now I'm all set up! Thank you.

So to track your car, you should call Porsche NA, not the dealership?

I ordered last week, I just checked My Porsche, my new 911 order is not added yet.

And did anyone get to see their car being built like shown here? Post pictures if you did!!!

I'm not sure if dealerships can initiate a TYD email to be sent. In my case, I called Porsche NA.

Curious if anyone has had luck in my shoes. I purchased a pre-spec allotment for a MY22 GT3 from a local dealer. At the time of purchase, the car was not yet in production. I've stuck out with the dealer adding the car to my Porsche account so I can track the build process, but found out this past Friday that the car has been born and has a VIN. I have e-mailed Porsche from the website, and I have tried to call a couple of times, but get frustrated after 30 minutes on hold. I just want to see the pic of it coming off of the assembly line!
