Fidelity extended warranty pricing

Question regarding the tire warranty - does it cover only the original set of tires and replacements? In other words, if i get a new set of tires after 1 year, does the warranty still apply?

To give you an idea of what you would buy, if you drive 10K miles per year and want to keep the car for 8 years total you would buy the 8yr/80K warranty. Yes in effect you are paying upfront for an added 4 years. If you drive 12K / year you would buy the 10 year 100K mile.

This covers indie shops as well as dealers? And this is not service insurance but actual repair parts and labor costs anywhere ins the 50 States?

Yes, the Fidelity coverage can be claimed at any repair facility, just need to get it authorized prior to repairs. Valid in all states nationwide.

Is there a different price for say an 8 year 80K if you buy it one month into ownership or 3.5 years into ownership (as in prior to warranty expiration)

Without a doubt. You will not have the option to purchase an 8 year plan at that time - it will be removed from the system, and the pricing will spike drastically. In all scenarios, purchasing early is always the best case scenario for lowest pricing and maximum terms.
Also lets say for example I buy the 8 year 80K mile now at $3333 with $100 deductible and at the 4th year I decide to trade my car in, how much would be refunded to me?
Thanks for your help and also quick replies

That's a question that cannot be answered - it's a system, and even we can't predict it. We've just seen customers lose a ton of options when waiting to purchase, and will always be much higher in price for less time. Also, each scenario depends on the VIN of the vehicle/packages/options/etc.
Also, the pro-rated refund cannot be predicted either. It's based on time/mileage of the un-used portion of the warranty. Basically, both questions you're asking is what EVERYONE would like to know, but cannot be answered since it's a system and has it's own algoritm.

With all due respect, the only thing that can be predicted is the customer will pay the max up front for eight years, four years which are already covered under warranty. I just insured my 992C4S to ship across the US, seems a small rock chip was detected upon the first stop and inspection.
Immediately the insurance and shipper ran for cover "it's not us" "it was in a sealed container"... but the rock chip is there and it looks like I will spend the next week(s) arguing, but the insurance payment was made of course up front. In this case, the insurance actuarians are betting they will make money off you if you insure, and I fully agree.
When I can't work or afford the car anymore I'll sell it.

If you are looking to by this wait until your right at the 9,999 mi mark and then buy it. 0-10,000 miles is the same price (now if it goes past Jan1 of the next year there may be a price increase across the board, not just your specific car). Whatever one you buy would want starts on that mileage at that specific date.
-EXAMPLE-
If you owned the car for one year and put exactly 9,999 mi on it, and wanted 8yr/80k mi package the warranty would start effective that day and go for 8 years from that day OR 89,999 miles. No benefit at all to buy it on a brand new car EXCEPT for the pricing increase that happens generally yearly on Jan 1, that would be the only exception to the rule.
