but yeah more videos would definitely help. Especially deciding between all the sport cats.
I'm sure they don't do it justice, however their competition is putting out high quality videos...

Why are you selling them? I just got mine in and want to install them soon. How did they sound on your car?

I think that depends if you plan to tune. Without a tune, cats alone would not typically result in any meaningful performance upgrade. The benefit is therefore primarily in sound.

I went with Europipe for my 2024 Carrera T. Excellent build quality, great customer service, no CEL on a 100cell cat and best of all - cheaper than anyone else. Highly recommend these guys.

Thanks,
Barry

Our best selling sport cats is the Soul one, zero issues with them.

Talking to a certified soul Porsche dealer/installer in MD and they said that Soul Cats give a CEL and were basically saying (forcing) to go soul exhaust and then quoted me for 6 hours of labor for it…interesting

anyone with a 2024 911 with soul cats getting a CEL?

Soul said they supposedly fixed it but nobody has posted they were CEL free running cats on their 992 with turbos except the early produced cars < MY2021.

If you're considering cats, go in acknowledging you'll be 95% be getting a CEL and you'll either have to get a tune or a OBD dongle as well.

As @jlegelis said, get the valve controller first. Then cat back. Then cats.

Also look into Kline, JCR, BC Fabs, Akra.

We have sold them for 2024 models, no issues, definitely don't need the exhaust to guarantee no CEL.

Do the Europipe cats cause a CEL?

I did not experience one on a stock tune but was on a stock tune for only a couple hundred miles. With the tune, I still show cat ready so I would think the answer is the same i.e. no.

Thanks Barry! I’m not planning on tuning, at least not anytime soon, so I wanted to ensure the Europipes didn’t cause any issues. Did you have the 100 or 200 CELS on your stock tune 992?

I have the 100cell cats. I think they only offer 100 or 50 cell cats. You should reach out to Stef and see what he has to say about their products. Thanks! Barry

Not 100% sure, we don't sell that brand so can't personally attest for it.

They cause a CEL 100%. Except on the EU models, no CELs on any over here. And not on the 2020 US models and so far no CELs on the US model Carrera T either.
The majority of our 992 US customers have no issues. It mostly depends on how quickly you heat up the cats.
Cold cats don’t function properly so starting the engine and let it warm up slowly and driving off at very low rpm won’t heat up the cats at all.
You can also use a hand held device like the iCarsoft POR V2.0 if a CEL pops up.
