Quick question: For the US, can the yellow warning sticker on the Alcantara sun visor be removed? I assume it can be removed on the leather one with rubbing alcohol.

Not on my porsche but my Mclaren 720 with Alcantera - you can not remove it.
Also - not sure it can be removed on my leather (or whatever the material is on the standard visor) on my 992, seems like it is more than a sticker. (I have not messed with it, but seems pretty permanent - not a little sticker you can pull off and remove the excess with rubbing alcohol).

On the 991.2 leather optioned sun visor, it’s a sticker. I am not sure on the option for the 992 leather sun visor.
Why does DOT insist on this idiotic thing that NOBODY reads?
It's sticker and even if you use chemicals to clean the residue, there's still a noticeable after image. My plan for my 718 GT4 order is to order the Euro alcantara visors from Suncoast as it comes without the stickers. A bit more expensive, but it's annoying enough for me to be worth it.

Dan, sorry you did ask me on the other thread and I missed it. We don't get the silly sticker in Europe, so order from here, (or via Suncoast)! Would you like to to take some close up photos of the Alcantara sun visors against the Alcantara roof? (It looks amazing by the way)...

The 991.2 has the Alcantara headliner, so I am familiar with that. I only wasn’t sure about the sun visor. So thanks kindly for the reply. And yes, pics would be appreciated!!
I recall reading a thread on here specifically covering this topic. There were pictures a guy took of him actually removing the "sticker" from the alcantara sunvisors, with a before and after.

Sorry, it was late here before I got a chance to take some shots in the dark. However, is this the sticker you are taking about? I have never noticed this on a UK car before...
I'm sure you guys know this already, but I was told by my dealer that you only get the sun-visor mirror lights if you buy the ambient lighting package.
RHD 992 - Alcantara roof and sun visor passenger side. Sticker???

Yep, that's it, but in the US, it is on both visors. It annoys the crap out of me. I should take a poll....
