In part 2, Nick said the back seat “shelf stop” (or whatever it’s called) was being deleted for 2021. My March built 2020 had it deleted already. Or does that come only with certain specifications?

@iamwingman

He actually shows it off in another video right around the 2m45s mark...

(I'm sorry for knowing that)

I hope the "shelf stop" hasn't been deleted from my January build (on it's way here now). Without them, luggage or anything on the seats in the down position will slide into the back of the front seats on even moderate braking and mark them up in pretty short order. Seems like a misstep on Porsche's part just deleting them; should at least be an option to have them or not (like the storage package used to be.)

Mine was a January build and doesn't have them.

My June 2019 build has them and yes, they do help keep stuff from hitting the seat backs.

He makes a good point about the standard steering wheel vs. the thicker Sport GT wheel, and something to consider. Our C2S is my wife's daily driver and she has smallish hands. She liked the feel of the standard wheel better and I was okay with either. I would try both wheels before deciding--the standard wheel is leather covered with nice stitching as well (probably why the option is only $330).

Nick's videos just show that there is a Porsche configuration for everyone.

I, for one, would have no interest in ever buying, much less owning, a 911 that Nick configures.

Thanks Nick, I truly appreciate your insight on the dizzying array of options available.
You successfully discouraged me from ordering horrific color matched trim with a red interior, yellow seat belts, the awful alcantara, and leather vents 😂
