Default Discounts on 2021 orders

Anyone here getting discounts on 2021 orders? Getting ready to buy and looking for the best deal.

I was able to get 6%, but it was a stretch. I was negotiating with about 5-6 dealers. I was only able to get 7% on a 2020. I went with the 2021 with an Aug allocation.

I am getting 7%. Had to really fight for the 7%.

Nice. When you say an August allocation, does that mean a build in August or delivery in August?

I thought there was clear info that 2021 builds start in October / November this year?

Last I heard the '21 models would be delivered Dec-ish, at the earliest.

That sounds about right considering they usually "launch" each refresh of a current generation via their virtual PR team or at the LA Auto Show (which is held at the end of November).

Just got off the phone with my dealer. Their first allocation is for a build date in September. Not sure when delivery would be. Probably looking at end of November or early December. I'll need snow tires by then.

Received an update on Monday from Track Your Dream as my order is in the system. Delivery date moved up from January 8, 2021 to November 20, 2020. Everything is an estimate as it said the production line was a soft opening, what ever that means. Still have 76 days for any changes...

would be interesting to compare MSRP numbers. I believe the discounts vary by the amount being spent. I was happy to be quoted 8% when other dealers were still trying to get MSRP.. My build is $136K.

That might have been a factor, my build is $151k. Other offers were 7%, 5%, 3%.
