Question Shark Blue Photos?

From what I understand, Shark Blue will replace Miami Blue for 2021 992 models. Other that the .03 seconds it is in The Heist Super Bowl commercial (super blurry by the way), does anyone have any real photos or better video of this Shark Blue color?

is Shark Blue a color that was used in previous generations? If so photos of older vehicles is fine.

Did anyone confirm that the GT3 depicted in the super bowl ad is actually Shark Blue? Volkswagen has a very different Shark Blue on the Golf:

Interestingly enough, not here:

But there's a door:

Several of those would be better. This shark blue is not necessarily ugly, but quite tame:

I can't vouch for the reliability of this website, but it claims to show a paint chip for Shark Blue. I am hoping this it is true as I like it much better than the VW version.

This seems to match the Heist GT3. So either they based off of that or we've found Shark Blue.

That looks alot like Sapphire Blue. Very pretty color. Doesn't particularly remind me of a shark though.

Do NOT base any decisions or believe information on this website. I know this site very well and they have a long history of releasing incorrect information to look like an authority on certain vehicles. They then update names/color codes/color swatches later on, often times still incorrectly.

My money says this is the color. Porsche has repurposed VW colors before (Night blue metallic, for instance)

That would be unfortunate, IMO. Another slight variation on silver does not cut it.

Here’s a link to an Audi RS6 that, based on the title of the video, is shark blue:

Thanks for the video. Unfortunately, you can tell the color temps are way off due to the filters and off-the-shelf editing templates the amateur editor used. So, some shots it looks like an easter egg, others it almost looks silver....the search continues....

Depending on the color temperature setting of your monitor (if it hasn't been calibrated, like with a Datacolor Spyder5ELITE Display Calibration System), it could even look like the current Gentian Blue.

I'm wondering if Shark Blue will look like that light blue silvery color from the long hood cars...retro color that would look good on the 992 since it has so many throwback cues.
