is the power kit something that can be added after the car has been delivered?

With the passing of the 991.2 GTS, Porsche is once again offering the X51 PowerKit for the 991.2 C2S and C4S, so there is future hope.
And this is Sport Pkg also with SPASM or std PASM? Can you take some shots of the side and front also?

The aero kit looks amazing.

On the 991.2, Porsche offered it first as a new car option, then when GTS production was halted to focus on producing as GT3, they offered kits to dealers until they fired up GTS production again. Now GTS production has stopped, and Porsche is once again offering the kit to dealers. And the dealer installed X51 PowerKit comes with full factory warranty and does not change the new car or CPO warranty.
I'd like to see Porsche offer a PowerKit for the 992 S cars.

It will happen. It’s an easy $12k in their pocket.

question is can you add on after delivery through dealership?

I have C2S MT on order and my dealership worked on the GIAC tune. They are staying almost 100hp at peak and 60 on torque. Anybody have thoughts or have done the ECU tune with them?

thanks

991 S models were able to have installed at the dealership.

Im not so sure. In the 991.1, the PowerKit was made available a couple years b4 the GTS came out. When the GTS turbos are ready b4 something else on the GTS, then you might see it offered for the S.
Thinking about the 992 GTS, everything except emissions and fuel economy may be ready now. Perhaps Porsche will offer it as an aftermarket tune package.
A number of Porsche dealers are now authorized dealers for tunes. My Service guy recently announced they are an authorized dealer for the APR tune, when i was in for my 2 year service. Their price is about double, but includes some sort of warranty. He said it would bump up the power on my 991.2 X51 C2S to 911 Turbo territory.
A guess is that more dealers are looking at tuning for additional Service Shop revenue.

I think offering it too soon is risky business move. Why’d anyone wait for a GTS when the power kit is available to add onto a car you can have “now”.

Has anyone ordered the sport design side skirts along with the aero kit? If so, any pics of that combo?
