I've placed an order with the Aerokit back in late February and had 2nd doubts days later. But viewing the latest pictures of the actual kit on the new 992 that are being delivered convinced me that I made the right choice. Here are a couple of more pictures of the Aerokit that I found on the internet for those who are still in doubt:

The white 992 with the clear taillights looks stunning!

definitely makes a base car look sportier.......detracts from the GT cars being special for having that spoiler, but why not.......

Delivered to my home this morning 😊

We even made use of the Aerokit wing - using it as a table to go over and sign documents!

I love it. Would love to see a technical explanation/video comparing the relative pros and cons of this fixed wing on a track vs the base active aero.

Found this: https://newsroom.porsche.com/en/2020...ges-19950.html

The new Aerokit has been engineered at Porsche’s development centre in Weissach where experts spent months optimizing the design and function. Prototypes were carefully honed in Porsche’s wind tunnel to ensure that the Aerokit fully delivers on its striking visual promise of reducing the uplift forces over both front and rear axle. The intensive development phase also included hot and cold climate testing around the world. More than 90,000 on road endurance kilometres were covered, while the Aerokit was also fine-tuned on the race track in Nardo with a total of 55,000 km of high speed testing.

Visibility not bad, especially straight back where wing is thinner. Here are a few views from inside the car looking back. First is about eye level sitting in front seat. Second is from higher up - likely closer to level of rear view mirror.

I think it looks great. It's funny how the GT3 crowd goes all crazy about wingless GT3 version while many of non-GT buyers are ready to pay extra for having more of a wing. I'm closer to the second group - to me the wing just visually balances the car.

it's a shame Porsche doesn't put a good-looking wing like that on the Turbo models. it would make the car look much sportier and special.

These numbers do not seem correct- where did they come from?

I completely agree. The wing for me adds visual balance to the basic design. Although the basic 911 shape is classic, it’s always looked off to me without a wing, whether it be a duck tail, whale tail or the current versions of wings. I would definitely get the aerokit on a 992 Carrera. I’m so glad they’re offering it again.
