Post Every option for the 992 reviewed Part 1

That Nick Murray, sooo annoying, but sometimes there can be snippets of useful information. Here is a review of every current option on the 911 992 generation as at the time of this post. (also some light trolling because we need that) Of course not everyone will agree with every point but this video is designed to help reduce the amount of money we all waste buying options that we never get any value out of.

Did you get to no MT in base models?
Nice to see you here. I’m the proud owner of a “PDK” T-shirt. What was the production run on those?

I went a bit over the top with options ... and colors... if you don't like back and white.. check out my build Nick! 😂

PS.. and btw, that Lane keep assist might have saved my *** on at least one occasion of distracted driving and trying to merge into the left lane which a very speeding car had entered by the time I began the merge... the car resisted me.. turn signal was on, and it noticed the car next to me and resisted... I think this feature is only on LKA.

As for Rear Axle Steer.... it's all and I mean ALL about the U-turns

He really hates those puddle lights because other people think it's tacky. Get it if you think it's cool. Please don't make decisions about your car based on what others think. Same with stripes, which I happen to like quite a bit. Let people express themselves, Nick.

He's also mistaken about PDCC being great for "beating on your brakes on a track". It's the opposite.

As a fellow Kiwi one thing I really enjoy about Nuck's videos is his self-deprecating sense of humour. Kiwi's don't always take themselves toooo seriously, we're generally happy to laugh at ourselves as much as at others.

I am not a fan of the "Porsche" spelled out on the roadway as it is rather self serving, but I do prefer a puddle light for obvious reasons - so as to avoid stepping in a puddle. I ordered it anyway. On my BMW, the puddle light shines as whiskers and is cool looking.

I did take the body color options to heart. My 991.2 is GT silver, so this time around I wanted my 992 to have some color to it. I was hooked on Miami Blue, but was convinced that I should order a more conservative color, so aventurine green. That color does not photograph well, but still, it is quite conservative. I am really torn on that as I have had a Porsche severely keyed for other no reason than being a Porsche, so I am hesitant to draw attention to the car or me. I would rather have guards red, lave orange, or Miami blue. I am still at the configurator, lol.

Also, I have been thing about the sport tex interior, but all of my cars have had black interiors except for my TR6. The two-tone interior meansI need to add seat ventilation. I'd like to have the sport tex for added comfort. Torn on that one, too.

Anyway, thanks Nick for stirring the pot.

Watched the whole thing. Swore at my screen approximately 8 times lol.

Major points of agreement: no Puddle lights, no SPASM, no RAS.
Major points of disagreement: color (silver grey or black outside; black interior only please), sports cars don't have sunroofs, the 4-pipe tips look WAY better than Sport Exhaust ovals.

Looking forward to part 2.

you know what they say about opinions .... and this is why Porsche maybe offers soooo many options... I disagree with you both (for example)..

Order what you want and enjoy it... his overview is helpful but by no measure would have changed anything I did... including the Puddle lights
