The 2018 Audi is not financed. I inquired about rate on financing my cars that were owned outright, the 18 S6 and 2015 Z/28, and they told me I could finance 50% of the value of either car at 2.1% for 3 years.

i applied for financing through dealer and they sent the application to a couple of banks for quotes. this maybe dumb question, but what does a PFS finance rate mean when the financing is done through third parties?

It means that it is not the PFS rate because it is not with Porsche Financial Services.

12 months has been the max- what is the real value of your car vs residual?

I got mine at 1.95%. They were offering the deal on used vehicles and new base model 992s, but my dealer mistakenly quoted me my S at that. They realized their mistake, but honored the quote anyway.

I'm thinking with this virus impacting the economy the way it is, you can get the 1.95 if you push for it or walk. Discretionary purchase or not, these guys still have to move cars to make a living and some money is better than no money.

Took my 2012 S to the dealer to trade. Offer was 9000 below KBB before he saw it. I had already told him over phone this was unacceptable. He said bring it in. After another look he offered 1000 more. I would have to Trade car now (May) and wait till Sept for new car. Car was a launch vehicle,24000 miles, 1year old PS'4s,1year old battery, 1 year old ceramic coating. Luckily I had called the person (exotic car dealer) I had bought it from for advice. He told what to them what I wanted for it. If they said no I was to ask if they would do a courtesy trade. He said this would basically call them out. If the said yes he would buy it. They said yes and he gave me 8000 more than their offer. T he only reason they really gave me for the low offer was that they would service and certify it.That would cost them $4000. My buyer had it on his website 4 days and it was sold.I gave hi the car in middle of June so now I wait.
