I think it looks better on Boxster and 911 cabs where the roof color is different and breaks it up. Miami blue on a coupe is too much for me.

I don’t totally disagree :-) I am planning on black stripes (which you are free to laugh at as too “boy racer” or “fast and furious wannabe” or whatever) to help address that. I think the stripes help break up the issue you mention.

You are correct

Just ordered a Cayman GT4 four in Miami blue and was told by the salesman that they were going to cut off that color option on October 30, 2020

I never liked or understood the need for Miami Blue...between gulf/riviera/mexico they are all somewhat similar and frankly to my eyes Miami is the worst of them

I personally rate them: Mexico then Riviera then Gulf then Miami...but I do know plenty of people that LOVE miami blue so what do I know lol

Porsche flat out needs some better colors to be made available - for a sports car costing this much they should have a better selection. Give me Riviera/Mexico blue as a standard option, maybe another green beside Python - a darker shade, a non-metallic grey tone a bit deeper than chalk (Fashion Grey), I dig the solid non-metallic colors.

My dealer brought their Miami blue demo to the Area 27 track event. Here’s a picture of her at the after party. Beautiful colour.

Agreed, this shark blue better be decent. I'm sad that I didn't get a chance to order a MB. The color options are so limited and don't get me started on the cost for PTS.

lol

Don't get me wrong - I like Miami Blue. That's my list of blues I actually like (that I'm familiar with). There are plenty of Porsche blues that I didn't list that I don't care for.

It’s all good :-) I have actually grown to like Miami Blue over time—it wasn’t LAFS for me. Mexico is easily my favorite, and Oslo is right up there. But not at PTS prices :-)
