Front License Plate Options

Front License Plate Options
Apologies in advance, I know this is a much discussed topic already in the forum, my question is quite specific. I live and commute across the tri-state area (CT, NJ, NY) and don't want to deal with the constant worry of not having front license plates on my 992 (ED in June). So I'm trying to find the best solution that is fully compliant and esthetically acceptable. As an aside, I've been working in Europe for the past four years, so my mental image of a 911 is with a front plate, although the EU plates for the front are smaller, sleeker than our US version. Anyway, I saw the following picture of a 992 with a UK plate holder that curves with the front facade of the car. Does such an option exist in the US for the front plates on a 992? Thanks in advance for your input.

Yes the US version is just a different aspect ratio (narrower and extends lower).
I have seen plates rigs that stick up above the hood line - I'm guessing this is forced by the radar sensor (if equipped)?
Good reason not to run a front plate in that case or get that option!

I'm just taking the risk in CA... I'll keep going without one until the cops give me. ticket then get it done then.. so far driven past dozens of them, and not pulled over.

I'd roll the dice. Pennsylvania doesn't require a front plate. So, cars without front plates are a common sight in the tri-state area.
From my experience in California and Texas, driving a car with CA and TX tags, if you're driving something "fancy", you're not going to get bothered over a missing front plate. Nobody cares.
I am happy to live in Pennsylvania where you can even make your own plate and providing that it matches your registration, no one is going to bother you. Enforcement here is quite lax. For example, this Miata belongs to a friend and sports a home made, EU style plate.

You'll be fine in California. It's almost an expectation that cars above a certain $ don't wear them.

I live in NJ and haven’t been stopped for not having a front plate in 31 years. I even got a thumbs-up from a cop a few weeks ago who clearly saw my tints and no front plate. If I should be stopped, I’ll gladly pay the $54 ticket.

I thought in California that it was a requirement that your car leave the dealer with a front plate. Not true?
I saw a car that had a California plate in the shape of the EU style plate. Searched the web, plenty of folks offer them.
I'm not certain that I want a reason for somebody to pull me over.
