First time owner here - moved from BMW.
- I must say I thought this car was great for daily drive but now after 200 miles I have a feeling that it is not optimal. Too much road noise, and droning whole cruising.
- A lot of rattles compared to BMW in my 992. I test drove another 992s at a different dealer and that one was much better in terms of rattles. I had to go to with mine since I custom ordered it to my spec.
- comfort access is total BS. Doesn’t work half the time. Don’t waste your money.
- Bose audio is not worth it. Too loud in the car to enjoy any good music unless you are at the traffic light. I think it is waste of money but not sure about the resale value.
- I have standard interior and seeing full leather hurt a little. But I guess I still prefer to save $4k
All negatives so far because I am in the break in period didn’t enjoy driving it a lot

A 911 is a sports car. Sports cars are loud. Sports cars have tight suspensions which can cause rattle or noises. Sports cars have wide tires which can be loud. Stereos in sports cars are kind of an after thought and secondary to the driving experience. If that kind of stuff bothers you, why in world would you purchase a sports car? I think the 992 could be a bit louder and less refined.
911s are actually very quiet, very smooth and very drivable as a daily driver for a sports car. I have cars that literally make my ears ring after 15 minutes in them. I don't hear wind noise, tire noise, rattle and etc. because I am used to sports cars and I don't look for or obsess about random sounds in the cabin.
Perhaps BMW 5 or 7 series is the car for you if you are more concerned about driving a quiet sofa and paying more attention to your stereo than the driving experience.

A 2020 M550i we drove was definitely a sofa. It also had a really squishy, comfy footrest -- the brake pedal.
Damn, but I wanted to like that car. Half the price of a 992 after discount ($70K range)...

You're saying your car was 36psi / 41 psi?! That's way too high.... by at least 5psi for both tires.

You're right about it being subjective. I'm 6'6" and over 250lbs, so maybe I just really like riding around on a fast sofa sometimes. But how great is it that Porsche has made the 992 roomy enough that I can hop right into it and be comfortable? When I bought my first 911, a 996, I had to buy a convertible because the coupe didn't have enough headroom for me to sit in the car. And my first BMW was an E36 M3 that I had to get with manual seats and no sunroof so I would fit.

Reminds me of 2006. I picked up a 2006 Lotus Elise to instruct in as it had a passenger seat so I could take students and other instructors along for rides. My Cup cars did not. My Lotus/Porsche sales guy and fellow racing buddy was 6'6" and used to jump in my Elise at the track for rides with me. His helmet literally pushed the little canvas top up about 2 to 3 inches. Outside, you see a helmet shape poking the black canvas top up like a tent.

Until I took it to Lime Rock and it essentially saved my *** a few times when I ran out of talent and paved stuff. Glorious track car, and what fun on back roads leading up to LRP. But everyday driver? Nah...there’s an app for that, called Panamera. I’m on my 2nd Pana since, and wouldn’t daily anything else (I’ve driven / compared everything else worth driving).
Best part, for the price of a reasonably spec’d 992 C4S, I can get a super duper all season 4 door 4 seater sports sedan Pana 4 + tuned WRX STi for track days. 😀

The 911 should not be comfy and quiet. The damn thing is a sports car.
