Default Custom order 911 in SoCal...which SoCal dealers are known to offer better discounts?

I don't have a Porsche dealer in my town so I have to travel to place an order for a new 911.

Considering that fact, which dealers in SoCal are known to offer better deals?

I don't need the very, very, very best deal, but because I have to travel out of town anyway, I'd like to go to a dealer that will be a good experience at a good price.

I've read folks getting up to 7% off MSRP (some claim more but the veracity may be questionable).

I don't know if that is the case at dealers in SoCal. What should I expect to pay? My build is around $120k sticker right now, so probably not a ton of headroom, but probably some right?

if looking for best pricing, why are you limiting yourself to only SoCal, or even Cal for that matter? Neither generally known for competitive pricing.

I got a very fair deal at Irvine Porsche. I dealt with Csaba there. The deal was exactly as promised, very professional and a very good experience.

I got 4% at Porsche Downtown LA; actually when I went to Porsche Irvine (I went in-person) the guy that helped me chuckled when I asked about a discount on a custom order about three months ago. I hate when salesmen try to make you feel dumb when you ask a question.

Man, that sounds like every experience I’ve ever had with Beverly Hills Porsche. I’ve bought 3 new and 2 used Porsche’s in the last 3 years and can never make a deal at BH. But I’ve bought a few cars from Downtown and have had good experiences there. 👍🏼

I got a good deal at Irvine Porsche too, on a lightly optioned S with European delivery.

I got what I think is a very fair deal at BH Porsche, but it’s my 3rd vehicle from them. Happy to connect you with my SA, shoot me a PM if you’re interested.

I second this. You’re not going to find your best deal in an area of high demand.

None in CA and especially SoCal. Will you get maybe a slightly better price at one vs the other making you think you got a good deal like a few have posted, sure. Bottom line is plenty of folks with silly money and the “have to have it” attitude so Socal dealers just don’t have to deal as there are limited cars for them to sell.

Go out of state if you want a real deal.

Frankly I think that’s rubbish. They have plenty of slots, they will deal, and you don’t need to be aggressive to get treated well.

I would agree with you. My Porsche Irvine deal was as good as any I've seen mentioned on here, plus a pleasure to work with. I won't post details publicly, but the OP and I have PM'd and he has the details.

Sounds like things are improving a bit vs a few months ago in terms of willingness to discount and of course these things always vary from dealer to dealer and customer to customer. I do find it odd when SoCal dealers play hardball and won't discount at all (as my local dealer did when I brought my checkbook ready to place an order a few months ago) because of "local market" differences when PECLA is right in the heart of the "local market" and you can have a car shipped there for PECLA delivery from any dealer in the nation for $500 (and have really fun afternoon for that price). I could see a dealer playing hardball when you are 300+ miles from the next closest dealer and would have to pay thousands in shipping to get a car sent to you but in SoCal, there is an unlimited pool of dealers who can sell you the exact car you want and ship it essentially for free and with no hassle.

I guess most customers don't think of it or don't want to do PECLA delivery because it seems they are able to sell cars at high pricing but I find it odd...

Can you double up and do Euro Delivery and then have it ultimately shipped to PECLA for final collection?
