We had this thread on the 991 section. Now there's enough 992s out there, post a pic of you max g-force (press the steering roll control under the g-force display). Maybe add where and type of tires.
Mine in a track day on Cup2s
Most I've seen is 1.05 .. I can't imagine how the car can hold the road at 1.4x .. are you sliding at all?
I think if you slide it wouldn't be necessarily a high number as indicates loss of grip.
No sliding doing that, I was limited that day as the car was still new to me, with factory alignment. Now with camber maxed I may be able to add some to that, pending on track days being reasonably safe (virus-wise)
Hey Sub, what tires were you running? Was that a track day?
lol. Not me....but this topic keeps coming up over the years so I downloaded the highest one I have ever seen (of about 100). I can't recall exactly the details as this is a couple years old but this was from a GT car with slicks. Not a 992.

Some serious vomit inducing lateral forces. I got ways to go on my cabrio...

Oh okay. I was thinking at first it was your 2018 991.2 C2.. I was like wow! Maybe I am taking the twisties too lightly on my 992 lol
Unfortunately the dealer have done the reset during an update
but I found these on Track precision app.
michelin sport cup 2 235/25/20 k2 - 315/30/21 k2
Those are some insane numbers... (not sure how accurate this guage is?). I don't think I have the stones to hold a turn at the speed it would take to generate that level of force. I'd wimp out for sure.
I saw very high G-Force numbers on my '15 991.1 GTS running Pirelli N0 P-Zeros that already had about 5,000 miles on all four tires. This was at Watkins Glen where some of the turns have enough camber so that some of that measured G-Force is achieved by the car pushing against the suspension toward the pavement. There is physically no way that it would be possible to generate these very high lateral numbers on any level surface- even with Cup 2s at their best. Maybe with race slicks. The braking and acceleration numbers shown here look accurate and typical for high performance 991s.
One point I'd like to make is that I personally have quite low normal blood pressure readings, which to me means that I am more likely to have difficulty with high G-loads. I had no difficulty with the acceleration and braking G-loads that my 991.1 GTS generated. I believe I would have felt uncomfortable with lateral G-loads at 1.45 and above if they had been generated on a level surface, yet I had no difficulty at all in the 1.45-1.53 range per the G-Meter. More accurately, there was enough down load/pressure on my car to allow such a high measurement.
To me the most impressive number that our street/road Porsches can generate is the braking force. When I was at Watkins Glen in 2016 I was still using the original pads and rotors, with 6-pot calipers on the front. I had been used to a Cayman R, which certainly had decent standard brakes, but the standard brakes on the 991 GTS were far, far better.
I wonder what the new 992.1 Turbo S is capable of generating in acceleration force? Probably better that I never personally find out!
That depends, as mentioned above, on the track, radius and mostly the camber the track. I believe those tests are standardized in order to compare different cars.

I was hoping to improve all the g's at Road America, the virus messed up the season. Fast curves and some hard breaking.
in that video it never pulls more than 1.1g lateral tho.. which further makes my point.. I can't see how the car pulled the numbers you did... exceeds anything out there,
