Yep a common issue... I am on my 3rd heated steering wheel.... car is due back tomorrow will see how long this one lasts!

Have you tried increasing the climate control temp? Perhaps that will increase the heat on the steering wheel.

I paid nearly $1200 for that addition bit of leather ... I would accept nothing less than flawless .. and I can guarantee it didn't leave the Porsche factory that way...

Not suggesting this should come out of your pocket, but Suncoast offers the center console replacement piece in truffle brown leather for $215.00.
