I ordered this 992 about a year ago and it was delayed by the factory shut down
I had a Pastel Yellow 993 in 1997 that my 4 yr old son picked out in the showroom
After a number of 993s and 996s , I decided to get another yellow 911 23 years later
Maybe unpopular opinion, but I actually like the standard 992 bumper. The sport design bumper is nice but I like the standard more, and bonus that it’s standard and not an additional cost.
I would not order a 992 without the sport design front fascia.
Two reasons why I would not order with: (1) The removal of the controlling air flow flaps (this is a first for Porsche, and offers some cooling and aerodynamic advantages); and (2) Reduced attack angle, ie, front scraping issues.
While the front look, with the sport facia, has a more aggressive look, it also looks very similar to all previous 911’s. All personal taste.
I took these at delivery - old one, new one. My preference was for a design that was a slight departure from my prior car. As always, there is no wrong choice.

New one looks infinitely better without that hideous front end.

Although, as a whole, I like the looks of the 992 Carrera better than the 991 - I still like the 991.2 face. It's a little friendlier.
Oddly enough, I prefer the face of the 992 TT/TTS to the 991.2 TT/TTS
I think I've decided I prefer the SD fascia on light colored cars and the standard fascia on dark.
