Only 24 hours with my car. It does have the Premium Pkg and I find it very unobtrusive compared to the Mercedes LKA that gives haptic feedback. I've not played with the options yet, but so far so good. I would want the Premium Pkg.

OK, I have a "basic" question re: the LKA that is included in the Premium package which includes sign recognition. Does this Premium Package (via the LKA) monitor for blind spot alerts or do you have to add option 7Y1 which is the Lane Change Assist ($1,060)?

Reading the configuration help screen implied, at least to me, that those two options are different. Is that a correct interpretation or not? TIA

Yes, if you do not add the Premium package, the configurator allows you to spec the LCA without the LKA, so that implies to me also they can be separated. You can add everything from the Premium package separately, leaving out the LKA. It will be more expensive than the package, which is why it is bundled as a package, but may be worth it if you do not want the LKA.

I have not tried the LKA on the 992 but I find it obtrusive on other cars also, so I would be inclined to delete LKA if possible.

The $5,380 premium package includes LKA (P60) but does not include LCA (7Y1) that has the blind spot monitors in the side rear view mirrors. That needs to be added for an additional $1,060.

Correct. I would trade LKA for Blind Spot monitoring any day and wish it was part of the Premium Pkg. I did not order my car so had to make concessions!!
