Default Aventurine green scratches/smudges

For those with aventurine green 992 how is it re scratching and smudges, swirl marks etc? I have black 991 and a day after I detail it is a mess. Th black shows every piece of dirt. Going to order 992 in white to remedy this but I love the new green color.

Most of my cars have been black.

Decided to try white for a change for my 992, regretted since. Seems to be worse than black, shows every bit of dirt.

Given a choice again I would go for the Aventurine green,

Aventurine Green should be one of the better colors for minimizing scratches & smudges. It's very similar to Agate Grey, which is about as low upkeep as you'll find in the Porsche palette. Worlds better than black. Avoid the RS Spyder wheels if you're looking to minimize upkeep, keeping them clean is like a second job.

this as far as color. For the wheels, just ceramic coat them and you'll be fine.

Aventurine Green does a fine job of hiding the dirt. It's a great color. Here's my car after a few hundred miles of salt and wet.

Yes, it's 2020. All wheels should have ceramic coating. It makes cleaning them a snap. My Spyders and Carrera Winter Wheels are all ceramic coated. Of course, my car is as well.

The thing that black doesn't do is hide scratches and swirl marks...it's a rough go.

I've had GT silver, basic white, Carrara white metallic, and graphite blue metallic recently. By far the Carrara white metallic is the best paint I've had. The metallic helps hide any minor scratches/swirls...I can't even find them on my car.

I've seen Aventurine green up close too and props to that one too...

Don't know if you like it, but Dolomite silver would hide things very well...like JFK man on the grassy knoll well.

No problems with Aventure Green. Love this color. I also have the Spyder wheels and so far no big problem. I use water pressure spray.

With my AG 992; 4 minute car wash with a pressurized wand on rinse only, quick towel dry and you are good to go for everyday driving. had jet black before; much more involved.
