Default WIRING Instructions for Led Illuminated Door Sills

Hi guys I need your help
I’ve just bought Carbon Illuminated Door Sills from Suncoastparts. The items arrived today with 2 door sills and 2 wiring harnesses. And there is no wiring or installation instructions.
Anyone can help me out? Thank you very much!

Those are nice. Santa came early. Hopefully it's plug & play, once you remove the existing sills. GL.

Unlikely all cars are prewired for these - you probably have a minor wiring project ahead tapping into the closest "dome light" circuit.

No doubt. Maybe it becomes more apparent when the existing sills come off. But as WCE said above, is the car pre-wired to accept or is it splice & dice time?

Go search the 991 forum and I think you will find a thread there. Installation is likely the same or at least very similar.

From experience modifying P-Cars for years now. There is probably an wiring harness you'll need to order also. I've never done door seals but for example. You can't just swap bumpers from one 911 to another even if it's the same year model. You'll need every screw, bracket, plastics, wiring harness etc....

Ya I saw the instructions for the 991 in the last day or two and decided to spec the aluminum lighted sills on my build--yikes indeed. OP, I'm sure you'll be able to handle it, but it's more project than I was willing to endure for a project that doesn't help the car drive any better. Good luck!

Did a quick search and don't think I found an actual 992 installation result... apologies for the old thread bump - but this one has some good pics

@Airbus Raider Did you end up completing this? Was it a SIMPLE plug and play? Or did you have to remove carpets and other nonsense to install these?

Anyone else have actual experience with these?

It is quite simple with the factory instruction. Plug and play. So just go ahead.
1. You have to remove the door sills by pulling upward about 1,5cm then slide backwards.
2. Remove the old one (take years to clean 3M adhesive...LOL)
3. Put the new ones on the same position (take care the slim led wires (don’t pull or twist)
4. Run the led wire along the gap between carpet and door sills.
5. You will find the harness as instruction. Put the pin in the vacant position (don’t worry you won’t make mistakes, there’s only 1 empty slot for the pin).
Enjoy your work!

Are some steps missing between 4 and 5?
