Default Getting ready to pull the trigger on a 992

Getting close to going forward with a new 992 order - https://www.porsche.com/microsite/po...px?c=/PLJDDL34

The Aerokit just blows me away and is making this decision much easier to move on from my Carrera T. I’ve had the T for just over a year, but had a 991.1 S for 2.5 years before that. So basically 3.5 years on the 991 platform...not bad right (I keep telling myself that)?

Any final words of wisdom?

Looks great!

Me personally, I would drop the premium package and individually select Bose. Take the rest of the savings and upgrade the interior to full leather.

Aventurine green looks best with Iceland green/black interior IMO

Black is great as well. Can’t go wrong

Good luck!

Thanks for the advice. I thought about that...although ventilated seats are a must have for me and so is Bose. Really wanted comfort access and aren’t the PDLS lights a worthy feature? By the time I buy those a la carte, it’s only like $1k more to just go Prem Pkg. I don’t ever plan to use ACC or LKA, but from a resale perspective they’re worth having over saving only $1k.

I specced ventilated seats as well. I’d say each item individually will have its purpose in the end. Though my advice was just to help save and get you into that leather interior. But ultimately every option Porsche offers people will make some kind of case for.

From what I’ve heard on PDLS+. The dynamic cornering lights are not available it the U.S. Not sure why.. but if you’re not located in the USA, then I would say they would be worth it.

the dynamic cornering are working, it's the multiple LED activation matrix that is still waiting on DOT approval or something like that.... I'm told it's a simple software switch issue the dealer can do to activate it once the DOT gets off their a$$

yep. It showed up on the configurator on Black Friday! I was on the fence and then once I saw this as an option it really pushed me over the edge.

Awesome! Your build was still configurable? It hasn’t locked yet?

Just saw you have (had an RS3). I'm trading in my 2018 RS3 and selling my 2005 911 S Cab for a 2020 911 4S Cab (presumably to be built by 1/10/20). I drove a 2020 C2S and it felt like a combo of my RS3 and my 911. How do you compare the RS3 to the 911?
