Need you fellas' input, this is my first Porsche ever, coming from an F10 M5. Main purpose is daily driver with occasional long rides in UK. My annual mileage is under 6K.
Any & every suggestion is welcome!
Main areas of concern:
1. Seats (4-way vs 18 way)
2. SD full or front only
3. Interior color combo with GR seat belt & SC dial
4. Aluminum pedals (what are the standard ones like?)
I've owned Sport Plus (4-way) in my last two Porsches as never saw the need for the adjustments and extra weight of the 18-ways. The Sport Plus just fit perfect. The 18-ways in the 992 however are marvellous, and well worth the few extra $ in my view. If you haven't tried 'em suggest you do before deciding.
Pretty excellent. IMO you got all the right big ticket items.
Thanks mate

Is the 4-way & 18-way seat the exact same apart from the 14 extra contols in terms of shape and comfort? I originally added the 18-way but I read here how slow it is to move the seat fore/aft electronically to let someone get in the back. The price difference is significant and I thought 4-way would be enough. Is the extra controls necessary to get the best out of these seats, you think? I am also losing the memory function, I realize that.

Not sure what color Crayon is, but I'd change the stitching to Red, or else skip it.
I like LCA/LKA, but wouldn't want Adaptive Cruise Control. I'm conflicted, because LCA/LKA cannot be ordered without ACC.
The general concensus here on RL is that PDCC is unnecessary unless the car is meant to be taken on tracks, and that the standard control is plenty for regular use. Did I read that wrong?
Yeah I am used to LKA and LCA, not too keen on ACC but like you said it can't be specced without it. Also I would like to have the extra Speed Limit info that comes with this option.
My aesthetic vote (not that I get one!). Keep the crayon stitching, lose the red belts (you’ll tire of the clash). Keep the SD front, lose the skirts (I just have a thing about how blocky they look...keep the eyes on those nice wheels!)Rear badge delete...don’t distract the eye from the lines with that thing (some will hate me for that...best to just ignore me).
Lovely spec - that's going to list quite high, right?!
As always, colour etc is so personal, but FWIW, I like agate. I prefer an interior other than black (perhaps black/mojave with the agate?) though.
Keep the side skirts whether you keep the SD front or not - I left them off my build and have regretted it ever since - so much so I'm waiting for a quote from my OPC to 'retro fit' them when the car arrives.
Sorry - just read again and I see you're after GR belts, so not black/mojave! Maybe the slate/crayon combo? As you can see - I'm staying away from black!
18 ways - they are much slower to move fore/aft than the 4 ways (essentially the same seat though) so if you will regularly be taking, say, kids in the back then I'd go 4-way. If not, certainly 18 way (esp if you and any other driver are particularly different heights as losing the memory is a pain).
I would add SD rear. Without that the car looks weird from the side profile because the front lip is so low and aggressive but the rear is so high and soft looking. Add the SD rear and look at the profile view to understand what I’m saying.
