aww man whered you get 220 from? sources online seem to predict a lil over 200k for turbo s cab base i assume pdcc real wheel steering and ceramics are standard on the s, so just need to choose color for a few grand?

I wish the SD rear on the base Carrera would look more like the Turbo. It doesn’t have the colored “L” shape inserts on the corners.

I hope those are the normal Turbo S forged center locks, and not the Exclusive Carbon Fiber wheel. Because I really want those wheels.

Great point!! It's got to be all about commonality of parts in the name of profits.

Those do look a lot like the .2 TTS Exclusive wheels.

Amazing performance and looks great, but to be honest I'm starting to miss the attraction of the Turbo/Turbo S given that the 992 S is getting to 60 mph in ~3.0. Yes, getting to 60 in 2.4 is a-mazing, but it's around 100k more for 0-60 2.4 performance which is useless when 99.47% of the time I can't use near the max performance of my 992 2S. And in terms of percentages, these are 100% not 0-60 cars. I'm thinking the Turbo/S won't sell as much as in previous generations. Much anticipating the GT versions.

Have you driven a Turbo? It is a different kind of speed, at least to me, and one can easily enjoy a lot of the performance on the street without going 200!

I wonder how many bhp the base TT will have...perhaps between 580-600 which is HUGE...

I haven't. I've driven some fast cars, but not a Turbo. What am I missing - is there something materially different than a blindfold (not really) drive in a 0-60 3.0 sec 992 S versus a 0-60 3.0 sec 9xx gen Turbo? All are turbos, curious what the 'different kind of speed' is, not being facetious.

You’re talking AWD with a torque delta of 160+ ft-lbs in a 991.2 TTS- it is truly beastly at all speeds. 992 S ain’t. That’s a torque jump of about 40% !!

Not being announced until Spring 2020? Guess it'll be a long wait for me until I can pick one up lightly used and CPO!

Here’s another article from Car & Driver. Tempted to change by C2S order, but don’t think I can wait for another 12 months.
