Default The Hardest Decision Ever - Need Your Help!

Hey gang, the time has come. I will be placing an order on my very first 911 this month for European Delivery... a lifelong dream come true.

I'm having an impossible time selecting a color combo and would love your thoughts on the options below. I know it's a highly subjective decision, but I haven't seen any of these colors in person and am currently working abroad in Singapore for the next couple of months, so I won't be able to check them out before placing an order (dealer here only has a white one).

Which one would you choose?!

Chalk Exterior w/ Bordeaux Red Interior

Night Blue Exterior w/ Black & Chalk Interior

Dolomite Silver Exterior w/ Bordeaux Red Interior

Ranking:
#1 - Chalk / Red
#2 - Toss-up: I hate night blue - it's basically black unless it's very sunny - go with gentian blue. The blue-ish tint in dolomite doesn't meld well with the red interior in my eyes - I'd try a gray or GT Silver.

The chalk red combo looks great. I like the blue but think either blue look great with a lighter interior colour.

Nice decision to make, enjoy.

look at the build code in my signature and you'll know my answer ... you and I have similar taste except I'm a bit more crazy with the seatbelts

This too is my dream car, and first time buying a NEW 911... I've owned used Porsches in the past... but the investment wasn't anywhere near the amount.

I've seen both Chalk & GT Silver 992's in the flesh. If black wheels are a must, the Chalk is the way to go, but overall I think GT Silver looks sexier, but I don't care for black wheels against Silver. Midnight Blue, no thanks. I'd rather go Black. These are good problems to have, Congrats!

Autotrader is your friend! There are hundreds of 992s on there now with pics and you can find real world pics of just about any spec (and easy to filter)

but you asked so:
chalk/red is great. Beautiful combo.
GT silver is a better silver vs Dolomite
night blue isn’t blue enough or black enough

so of your combos chalk/red is my fave. But asking opinions on the Internet isn’t likely to be helpful. Just buy what you want not what others tell you they would want

If you're thinking silver, then go GT silver. That's the best silver anyone offers and I prefer it to chalk and night blue. It really plays off the curves nicely.

Of your choices, I'd pick chalk; but.....if you are tempted with silver I'd do GT silver rather than dolomite.

GT seems to vary much more depending on the intensity of the sun on it - midday bright sun and it looks like a regular silver, low evening sun and it changes so much. It can also look quite like steel at times.

Black/Bordeaux with GT is a nice combo. I ticked truffle on my order, but appreciate this is more devisive.

Chalk all day. Chalk is very special when you see it. Great contrast with the bordeaux interior

I'm partial to Chalk, but slc4s is correct, start with autotrader or cars.com

If you haven't seen Chalk exterior or Bordeaux interior in person, I recommend taking the time to see them before deciding. Chalk almost changes colors in various light--sometimes it's a gray, sometime it's almost white, some people have told me it looks almost beige, too. With the Bordeaux, it definitely isn't as deep a red in person as it appears in Porsche's product photos.

I noticed you're in Singapore still. Get a friend or someone near a local dealership to take a video of the different interiors.

Have fun!
