Default Sport-Tex seat center pics

Anyone order these? Would love to see some pics.
When would Sport-Tex center be preferred over full leather?

The sport-tex seats are a huge improvement from the the 991.2. The chequered pattern is fantastic and seat heating now comes as standard. These will be my default options from now on. Very easy to clean (previous ones were prone to staining) and will wear fas less than leather.

cooler (although not cooled), grippier, adds texture/looks

If I was planning on tracking a car I'd maybe go that route, and I do think they look great.

I have them and love them, really good-looking on this version of the 911's seats - both in terms of overall fabric/leather design and the subtle checker board pattern. Dealership just ordered a demo car with them because they liked it a bunch. I'd say benefits are looks & uniqueness, but they are grippier than leather and great on very hot/cold days. You can see them best in some of the 992 review videos if not in person.

Almost my identical interior - same seats, sporttex, red belts (I also got a red tach + sport chrono ring), just not red stitching...very cool.

They do look kinda nice but keep in mind that if you want ventilated seats you must get all leather seats.

What is that "foam" padded bit around the seat belt latch on the (drivers based on your location) side?

any other downside to sport-tex seat centers, beside no seat-ventilation?

3 things come to mind ...

You're forced into Sport+ seats, so either the Sport + or 18-ways. The downside is you have to deal with hard plastic on the back or pony up even more money to get them covered.

And you won't be able to get the Premium package, which is a pretty good deal if you want quite a few of those options.

Oh, and I think they're itchy. But I'm in the minority on that.

only concern is cleaning them. not as simple as spraying and wiping off some leather cleaner. have it on my 991.2 and id have a hard time deciding between club leather and sport-tex if ordering a 992.

I usually wear clothes when driving, as most others probably do, so the itchy problem is a non-issue.

I loved Sport Tex in my 991.2 TT - Not sure about how the texture feels on these in 992. Jury is out! Looks nice though.
