That would probably work for most people, but I need as much adjustability as I can get. I'm 5'4, 120 pounds, so I have to be able to make the seat as small as possible. Also, my 5'1 wife will be driving it from time to time, and the memory function is important. Lastly, if the lumbar support is similar to that of my 991, it'll save my back on long drives. When the Targa arrives, I'll be getting rid of my Macan, so both our 911s will be used to haul groceries and other stuff, and I'm afraid the plastic seat backs will get scratched. It would be nice if a no cost vinyl option was offered.

Any Philly area folks with these? Would love to see them in person. Just placed a build but with 5 area dealers, none in stock.

Is that brushed aluminum with the Sport Tex? I have that exact spec coming in a few weeks. First time I've seen it.

It transforms the feel of the car. It is amazing how many personalities can be pulled from a 911 configurator. Should get the car back by early next week from the shop. This wait will feel even longer than crossing the Atlantic 🤣

Yes, aluminum.

It is a perfect match with an all black interior w/ sport-tex. It even matches the silver diamar trim surrounding the inlays. You’re going to love it.

Tom, did you get the Targa with Sport-Tex 18w? I might order the same seats on my 2021 C4S. As a fellow shorter guy (5’7’), just wondering what you think of Sport-Tex vs ventd leather. Thx!

I did Sport Tex with carbon fiber and like it. The CF mimics the pattern of the fabric. It's anther option to think about. I'm 6'2", so no help on the vertical.

The Sport-Tex with that interior looks really sharp! I bet the seats are very comfortable, also. Are they 4 ways?

18-ways. Also, like Smiles, I added leather to the backside of the seat, otherwise it’s a silver plastic. It’s another bump in $ and some think it’s not worth it as you really can’t see the seat backs that well from the front anyway. It was just one of those things that I knew would bother me.

FWIW, the silver-grey plastic back matches very harmoniously with Sport-Tex.

Those are the kinds of things that make so much sense to each individual! Others, for whom it isn't important, will argue 'til the cows come home that this or that option is a waste (or a must-have) but ultimately each of us knows what will/will not be something that will bug us. And for a car that costs this much, each option is a relatively small addition (when considered separately) that helps us love *our* car that much more :-)

I've gone over my configuration numerous times, even after it was built and ended up with the exact same choices. It just confirms that I like what I spec'd.
