Default Passenger side mirror tilts up when in reverse

My passenger door mirror annoyingly tilts up (instead of down) when reverse is engaged...which is a pain when parallel parking...something I do regularly. Took it back to the dealer the day after delvery and they somehow fixed it quickly. Now, 4 weeks later, it's back.

Anyone know what the secret fix is?

This is an overly simplified response, (apologies in advance), but when in R, adjust the passenger mirror to your preference and make it part of your memory settings (settings on the door). My car is away getting the SPA treatment currently otherwise I'd be happy to give better step-by-steps.

iF you grab a different key on any day the memories of that key may not reflect the proper settings unless you set them. Get used to any adjustments you make while in the car hitting the mem and key button to saver them.

Got it...I think. So, confirming...put car in reverse, manually adjust the door mirror to my desired downward position, and save the setting in memory (while still in reverse). And, when I put the car in drive, the mirror returns to the original saved position, correct?

Oh man, I noticed this as well.. Just turned the feature off in the settings. Hopefully we can get a good solution; thanks for posting.

Correct, when moving to D, the mirror will return to your saved setting in D. Note that it takes a few seconds before the mirror returns to the D position (slight delay).

Thanks for the solution...had discovered the same issue. Any idea if this is a glitch in the feature/memory functions?

It's not a glitch. You just need to set it and it will get remembered. It is working as designed.
