Is that a child seat I see in the front seat? That is awesome.

I joined the 992 club today. Chalk 4S with black leather interior. The dealership didn't have any winter tires in stock, so I ordered a set of Michelin Alpin 5's and had them shipped straight to the dealer. I should be able to drive the car home Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. It came with the windows already tinted, so I don't have any details on the tint level. I wouldn't normally get that done myself, but I like it on this car. I really love the close-up pic of the black wheel showing the contrast between the wheels and the shiny silver brake discs. And you'll note my car has the exclusive "Fully Visible Gauges" package.

Congrats on a beautiful car, and that comment was one of the best I’ve read in this forum :-)

Saw a neat older 911 when I was buying my 992 today. I guess the owner lost this car in a divorce 20 years ago and then he hired a private detective a couple of years back to track it down and the guy actually found it. It had been garaged as an investment for the whole time. So he bought it back and had it modded out and the engine enlarged.

Here's a link I found that explains the modifications that were done to the car: https://patrickmotorsports.com/blogs...-carrera-build

He also had the whole thing clear wrapped and the front end and windshield DOUBLE wrapped. He intends to use it as a daily driver.

And here the car is today with studded tires and a basket on the roof:

I absolutely love those old-style Recaro seats.

One more post... My salesman pointed out this ridiculous Audi "R8" imposter next to us when he was giving me a ride home:

The wait is over--picked up yesterday. Ordered on 12/27/19 so it only took 2 months. Gentian Blue with Slate/Chalk interior and Carrera Classic wheels. No PSE--had to have the quad exhaust. Not many miles yet but so far we're loving it!

Enjoy in good health! I also prefer quad pipes, but had to have PSE so I had to "compromise" a bit.
