Picked up my Chalk C2S today! Coming from a 30th anniversary F80 M3 and excited to be in a new 911. Thanks to Jason at Carlsen Porsche. Went for a performance-oriented build (3 or 4 track days a year) that’s also a daily driver.
Looks: Chalk exterior with 18-ways in black leather, Sport-Tex inserts, chalk stitching, seat belts in chalk, headrest crests, carbon fiber trim, illuminated CF door sill, satin black wheels, emblems in black, LED-matrix lights in black, and the Porsche puddle light (cuz everyone needs something a little extra)
Daily Comfort: Burmester, glass roof, GT wheel, comfort access, surround view, Front Axle Lift, and Adaptive Cruise (so good for rush hour)
Perf: RAS, PDCC, and Sport Package (Sport Chrono, SPASM, PSE)
Here are some quick shots during delivery. Will start a thread with better pics and some more rationale for all of my options because apparently we all can’t enough of that here
I don't remember the last time I thought the "standard" 911s right out of the box looked SO good/sharp...maybe the 997 Gts (which wasn't really standard)...but DAMN does the 992 look REALLY good right out of the gate.
Now that I'm seeing a ton of 992s on the road the 991 front end is starting to look "cute" if that makes sense... 992 is just a much more serious looking car out on the road. Still don't love EVERYTHING about it, but its a nice step forward to my eye.

I thought so too. Funny how that happens. The 991 lights seem a little disproportionally big now - maybe that's what you're reacting to.
The 991 is still a great looking car (particularly 991.2) but a 992 with PASM and the right wheels looks awesome - particularly in the front and rear quarter angles with those big arches.
