PCM Update?

PCM Update?
My SA called to tell me that there’s a PCM update that my car needs and I may not be able to take delivery Monday as planned. They are hoping the software is released Monday morning to perform the update and allow me to take delivery. Has anyone heard anything like that? He didn’t have any more details.

Mine already downloaded a PCM update already via OTA. So, I am not sure what your dealer hold up is -- these cars appear to receive updates automatically.
I can say that the software provisioning and setup was the slowest part of the delivery process. I was done with the transaction itself in like 10 minutes. Then, 1h 30m waiting for activation codes, etc. Not the dealer's fault. These things are just more technically demanding to configure out of the "box".

Oh, in another thread, it's been noted that Porsche is updating its servers this weekend. Hence, if they're trying to get you provisioned, it's not going to happen. Hence, your wait until Monday.
