Default Finally got my 992!

Hello everyone, long time member here but for some reason I was unable to recover my old Id. I like many of you am unfortunately a little nuts when it comes to cars. I’ve owned quite a few and I have to say the 992 so far is an absolute pleasure to drive. There are certainly some nit picky things to complain about such as the finicky and somewhat less than intuitive operating system for the car. I’m hopeful that some of that will be remedied with updates. I have had an error which says ignition switch interlock error. Have yet to get it addressed.
The car definitely feels faster than the hp. Would indicate. Likely due to the somewhat immediate torque delivery. I find the sound of the sports exhaust to be very good. I love the little pops and burbles. It lends enough interest without being obnoxious and imho suits the character of the car very well. I will not be spending 5k or more on an aftermarket exhaust for once.
Also does anyone know of any splash/rock guards? I know in the past I’ve seen some that aren’t too obtrusive and help keep the stones at bay.

Beautiful car !
As far as rock protection, why not get a ClearBra type PPI film? It protects and you can remove without paint damage

Default Ppf

Thank you! definitely planning on ppf but in my experience the lower rockers and quarters get beat up even with ppf. Also forgot to say I would have thought with all the options the car has it would have the blind spot monitor but it seems to not be standard.

Thanks everyone, yeah let’s just say I kind of fell for the gold wheels with the gt silver and black sports exhaust. Very attractive combo. The gt silver has a great depth to it and the gold wheels are more of a matte gold not a bright shiny gold. I feel like this car really needs a little pop, whether exterior color, wheel color or interior. Previous ride included.

awesome color combo. The wheels make the car. I wish they allowed the carrera classics to be in this color or painted like this type of wheel.

Most still select Black or Silver...bronze is probably last on the list of wheel colors (other than lime green or purple).

I agree. I'm not generally a fan of gold wheels, but they look darn good with GT Silver. Great car. Enjoy!

Wow. Tough to look at a P car with gold wheels. But if you like it, that’s all that matters.

Thanks for all the positive comments guys.. taking one of my kids to b-ball practice in it tonight. I couldn’t use the viper much because of driveways and speed bumps etc.
