Default Glistening Perfection Group Buy

Pretty sure a lot of you have already been very familiar with Glistening Perfection and Moe. They're arguably the best in the country for PPF installing and many other car detailing works.

I recently ordered a 992 (will be my first P-car!). After doing some research about PPF and nano coating research on rennlist, Moe and GP become an obvious go-to spot for me. I then got in touch with Moe. No surprise he's incredibly knowledgable but what impressed me is that he's super patient with any dumb questions I asked.

Here's the good news: Moe has agreed to do a group buy (with discount) for us but we have to hit 10 as a group! Please definitely comment here if you're interested in participating. Note that you don't have to have a delivery date in mind now.

GP and Moe has done a couple of successful group buy in the past. Don't miss this one!

I'm sure Moe is also going to chime in here to answer questions and provide more details.

Are you planning to ship your car there from SF..?

What is the price for a full wrap and coating?

I plan to do the PEC LA delivery (dealer can usually waiver the fee since PEC will pay for it) and GP is about 30 minutes drive away from PEC.

but that’s said, I believe GP do offer transport options (including pickup from PEC and shipment to you). Moe can probably offer more information about it.

Is glistening perfection located in the LA area?
If so, I’d be interested.
Take delivery in November.

I am ordering a 718 Spyder and was planning to do LA delivery + GP prep (already discussed with Moe, just not V200 yet so I don't have a delivery date)...can I participate in this?

Interested. Taking delivery of my 992 in early Jan at PEC. I’m located in SF and have been debating whether to just bite the bullet and drive from LA to SF after delivery or find a reputable detailer who then can ship the car to me after working their magic...looks like I maybe found my answer.

Yep! Just south of LA in Costa Mesa.

what about this guy in Belmont CA (near SF)... I hear he's the best... quoted me $5500 cash for a fully wrap on a 992.... what not try to get a Bay Area group buy?

Looks like we're on the same boat! I'm thinking about letting GP finish the work before my pick up at PEC (usually there's a gap between vehicle arrival and PEC pickup) and directly drive back to SF (great break in opportunity).

Definitely talk to Moe and he can provide more details.

Have you had your PEC pickup already scheduled?

A big factor for me is that I'm going to pick up the car at PEC LA. GP is the best in the area (30 mins drive from PEC LA) and I don't want to risk driving back from LA on Highway 5 without proper protection installed.

They won’t schedule my date until the car has ended production, but after a few emails and calls they’re confident I can take delivery at PEC in early Jan (it’s closed 12/23 until 1/2.) Car is due for end of production in mid November.

However, if the car is there and even paid off, you aren’t able to do anything until you sign the final docs at PEC, so getting PPF prior to delivery isn’t really possible. If you’ve heard otherwise, definitely let me know as I’d love to just have it ready to go upon delivery!

Edit: also, we’ve got to find some time in spring for a 992 ride!!!!

Definitely! Will DM you.

Wondering why PEC won’t release the car if it’s paid off? That’ll be really a bummer for me.

I’ll call them later to find out if there’s a way around. Moe seems to have a really good relationship with PEC so hopefully they’re willing to make it happen.
