My new shift **** from sport shifters arrived but with no instructions. Can someone walk me through shifter replacement or point me in the right direction.
Edit: never mind. In case anyone else runs into this and goes through the hassle of thinking you ordered the wrong shifter know this: THE NEW SHIFTER DOES NOT ATTACH THE SAME WAY THE OLD ONE DOES! The new one simply attaches to the shift rod via a set screw and is NOT attached to the leather shift boot.
This will turn a 5 minute job into a half hour job.
