Ok, Working on making my various red lights clear. To date have done the front indicator markers, have the 3rd break light on order (should be in soon). Also ordered a replacement for the red reflectors at the top of the bumper area on the rear.
When ordering at Bumperplugs.com, they told me most order in satin black to match the bumper. I decided to go with Carrara White Metallic to match the car, and drop the color down a bit into the bumper. I think it looks ok, almost not noticeable, but I like how the white dips down into the bumper with this look. Took about 3 minutes to switch out per side.
Thoughts? Should I stick with it white, or order black to match the bumper.
Here are some pics.
Here is the red before - not my car, but didn't take a before pic...

^^ looks good. I'd probably opt for the satin black, but the color matched is another good option.
Someone would have to order the satin black to confirm IF it truly blends with the rest of the black valence. As I would suspect that texture would be hard to replicate IMO.
Thanks for sharing @Richard_Wallace . I don't think it looks bad by any means, but it sort of looks out of place IMO. I wonder if it would look better with the SD rear since it has the little color matched piece that comes up from the bottom? Thinking satin black may look better for the standard rear and blend in. $269 for the painted set... oof. They do good work over there at BumperPlugs, but the rear red reflectors don't bother me that much. I wonder how a clear option would look? Or perhaps using tint to soften the red?
I'd lean towards satin black - if it matched very, very well. I do like how the white looks though! I doubt most people not familiar with the car would think the white out of place at all.
Do the red reflectors come out and get replaced by these, or are these covers?
Thanks for posting - this is one of the first things I'd like to do when my C4S arrives in August.

The red ones come out, using a trim piece removal tool, starting at either end of the reflector - they just kind of pry out, and unsnap.. These are the exact same OEM part, bumperplugs just paints them to sample - so they are an exact OEM part, just painted.

I do think if you had the SD bumper (with the little wing thing, and this painted the same color would look really cool).
I think I am keeping it, it is probably not worth another 289$ to replace with satin black, and it is barley noticeable with the white. I think the red stands out a lot, the white does not, and the satin black would also have been good, as it would all be solid (provided it matched).
Can you explain how you store a CarPlay or Siri command on the steering wheel button??
You don't store per se, the voice command button is the "shortcut ". Longer press for Siri ( no need to say "hey Siri "), shorter press for the car voice recognition

Hmm...I'd pass on that. I have a black car -- I'd end up with three different shades of black on the bumper.
Something to consider for sure. I wouldn't want that either.
Though, looking at the tail end of a 992, it sometimes looks like the red lights & reflectors aren't a 100% match either. I can see a slight color difference between the 3rd brake light, light bar, & reflectors, so it's almost like having 3 shades of red on the rear
