I wrapped it myself but didn’t use knifeless tape. I took the splitter off to wrap it and just wrapped it all the way around and cut on the back side with an exacto. The material was $49, but I only used about 20% of it (need to buy it at 7’ length) it was not hard, but was time consuming. About 3hrs total to remove, wrap and reinstall. If I had to do it again o could problem do it in less than 2. I was quoted anywhere between $150+ materials and $300 to have it done.

Something a little different...a nice home for my documents, maintenance records, paperwork, etc. Custom debossed and alcantara lined to match the car. I joke that I commissioned this for the next owner if I ever do sell the 911.

What can I say? I'm the type of person who likes letterpresses, feeling fine papers, and a fan of handmade things by skilled craftsmanship.
It was an unexpected surprise that the metal dies from production came along with the binder. Now I can letterpress fun Porsche things or make custom shirt prints.
