Is anyone planning to use spacers on your 992? I am thinking about putting on 10mm spacers when the car comes in. To me the car really needs spacers (especially with the new wide body).
Spacers without a drop can be tricky. It can give you a rally car look. Some of the pics I’ve seen, the 992 could benefit from a conservative drop.
Drop+spacers are almost always a good look. Just enough to close the gaps and flush the wheels.
Now having seen and really examined the car first hand - I'd change my statement. I think the ride height with PASM is a pretty good compromise between usability and looks. The rear wheels sit very nicely. The Spyder wheels looks best, visually, in terms of fitment. All the wheels have the same specs, so this is just an optical illusion. I do think the front wheel could benefit from a 3-5mm spacer or something conservative. Not sure if anyone has tried this yet.
My SPASM equipped car with 20/21 Spyder wheels doesn't need spacers. The Base Carrera wheels are a different story.
The offsets and sizes of all the wheels are identical, but the Spyder wheels do visually fill out the wheel wells better than any of the others. I think it's the best looking wheel. I doubt I'll use spacers either, but I'd like to see how a small spacer up front would look..
I almost always use them on my 911s...but my incoming 992 doesn't need them...I mean yes, MAYBE could use another 5mm but its damn good as it comes. Plus, some spacers, regardless of what the companies say can cause some vibration (not always but not worth it to try when this good right off the bat).

Spacers are a pain in the ***, too. I prefer playing with wheel offset.
