Have just paid the deposit on my first ever Porsche order!
Here's my current configurator spec - http://www.porsche-code.com/PLNWSDR6
Order doesn't lock for another few weeks yet.
Any feedback / thoughts on the spec are welcome!
Thanks all.
Adam

Nice. Great look and nicely sorted.
There’s a view on here amongst some folks that the sideskirts square out the 992 and in fact it looks better without. They favour ‘skirtless’. Worth checking out the thread to make certain this is what you want. The 992 has some great curves.

Congrats! Very nice. I agree with another comment... I would lose the side skirts, they just don't compliment the 992 very well IMO. Give off a boxy look and take away from the beautiful curves.

I would order the side skirts... I like the added dimension.

Also any thoughts regarding the alloy wheels please? Keep switching between these and the all black alloys which most people who opt for crayon seem to pick. So hard making the final decision 🥴

Reality = 100 people answer your question, close to 100 different views. Just the way this forum operates. Either way, well done and enjoy. Owning a 911 is a very special experience.

You’re gonna get tons of opinions on the choices you’ve made. So long as you’re happy with it then go ahead. My experience having configured 3 911s over the years and having bought a couple used ones is that in the end it doesn’t matter that much what you choose. It’s an awesome experience either way.
My 2 cents would be to test drive the 4S vs the S as I’ve owned both and the RWD I find more responsive and natural feeling while the AWD feels heavier and more “mechanical” in its handling particularly from the front.
Enjoy!

Go with what works for you. To my eye, those polished wheels look their best against a dark color...blue, black or grey. On chalk/crayon, black, platiinum or those matte grey spyder-like wheels would create more contrast...if that’s what you’re looking for.

Well for your first order you did a hell of a job. Car is beautiful and I would keep the alloy wheels. The Crayon needs some silver to set it off.
