Default Children’s car seat(s)

Has anyone installed a front facing children’s car seat in the rear seat? If so, how is it working out for you and which model are you using? Can you post pictures? Is having these installed full-time realistic? I need two in the back, both front facing. Thank you!

It’s very tight and doesn’t really work with child seats for kids over 6-7 yrs because the seat headrest hits the C pillar. I have 2 kids. I use the front passenger seat for one and a booster for the rear -unless the 4 of us go out in which case it’s boosters in the rear only. For my 9 year old who is 143cm tall it works better without booster or seat (she’s too tall with booster) but you need to check the law as I think you are supposed to use some sort of child seat until 150cm in some European countries. I wish someone would make something for the 991/992 which uses the rear space properly and is type II/III approved so I can comply with the law and fit the kids in!

needed some help with this.

how are people using the front seats, do you have to go to the dealer to get the airbag disabled?

what seats are people running for rear boosters?

These fit perfectly for my kiddos from 4-9 years old in the back seat. Can’t beat the price either!

thanks gents!!!

anyone know if the stage 1 rear facing would work with the front seat all the way forward?

from the video it appears as they put it on the front seat with using that extra attachment.

But i don't think there is a way to disable the airbags etc.

I was able to install my wife’s Maxi Cosi 3-1 Pria temporarily in 992 while I was shopping for a second seat. There is some rubbing in the pillar but otherwise does the job. He is a bit more upright. Front seat has to move up a bit where person 5’3 can sit.

The Clek Fllo arrived and it does fit better with no rubbing. As for kid’s foot room, it is the approx same maybe stick out a half inch more but natural seat position.

Some random photos (Clek behind passenger, Pria behind driver):

I have a couple of these that I use in the rear seats of the 992 and 993 (smaller rear seats but they still work) and even occasionally the front pax seat of my Ferrari or Aston 2 seaters if needed for a short ride (just one kid obviously).

Some of these child seats appear to be quite a bit over done. Multiple belts, straps, buckles, left and right cup holders, layer upon layer of pading to the point where there appears to be almost no room for Jr. Seems a little crazy to shoe horn one of these contraptions into what is generally considered a glorified pacakge shelf.

Just understand that is a booster seat and not a child seat. So it depends on what you need.
