Love the sport tex, looking forward to seeing it in my car. The leather backrests really finish the seats. I may have to get those done locally.

Very nice, Dan! I do also particularily like the leather backs. Excellent choice.

I was planning to retrofit them on mine, but the price from Porsche is a bit deep and the lead time for making them can be 4-6 months as they are apparently a special order.

Actually the first time I see, in your picture, that there is a separate inlay as well made out of leather. I was planning to take my regular seat backs to be wrapped in original learher to a guy who does them, but I wonder now how they will look like, as they would then be missing the ”inlay” part.... Hmm... I was aiming for a full factory look.

However, first things first: Congrats for the car!!! 😊

Love that they extended the contrast stitching into the leather shell. Looks perfect!

Looking forward to the sport-tex even more. Good choice with that last minute switch. Perfect case of form equals function!

I know, the price is very deep to cover those shells. They do it on the 14-way, so this is just shameless gouging, er, um, cost of the club.

I spent about 20 minutes in the Sport Tex but already in love with them. They look great and are very comfortable. The seat backs turned out well and happy with those, and the carbon fiber trim works well with this interior. I can't wait to get it back from my detailer to take a long cruise.

Awesome build Dan.......this is almost to a T what I've played with on the configurator . The Sport Tex interior looks perfect with the exterior color as mentioned, and the carbon Matt trim is the piece de resistance'

Well, thanks. When I was configuring my car, I searched this forum for photos and experiences of these options. It’s wonderful that people share so openly here, and through their sharing, help somebody else in their configuration. I had only seen this color on a paint sample at the dealership, and had never seen or experienced the carbon fiber trim or Sport Tex seats. It was only through others eyes that I put this together.

The dealer took the first pics of my car just off the trailer, and after seeing them, had a bit of sellers remorse as I really loved my GT silver 911 and wasn’t sure if the choice was right. When I saw it in person, it looked amazing. This color does not photograph well. When I took it for its PPF, the woman checking me in thought it was marvelous. She said they do all kinds of high end cars, exotics, but has never seen anything like this.

I am happy to share and will get back with my observations when I have logged more than 15 miles on the car.

I"m seriously now considering this same exterior/interior color combo but with a Targa. Trying to decide brown leather interior (Truffle) or the black with sport tex. I think the brown would really compliment the AG exterior ; but so would your interior - ahh decisions, decisions .....

Fantastic pictures being shared. I have had mine now for 8 months and have no second thoughts on the color. Here are a few pictures of mine. Black wheels for the Norway winter season and classic wheels for summer.

I have also configured a targa in these colors with a black band. Looks great.
