I'm not discounting the fact the paint or surface may be soft in those areas (black pillar trim on any car seems to show these much more easily). But, if you really want to wash it yourself, use a touchless wash or use a foam cannon.
Alternatively, use a 2 bucket or 1 gallon method with microfibers + optimum no-rinse.
Nothing should be touching your paint aside from wool / microfiber

To be honest with you, I haven't evidently observed a lag when shifting manually in Sport Mode. I have to closely monitor this behaviour the next time I'm driving it and will very likely do a quick video analysis showing the time lag between shifting in NORMAL, SPORT & SPORT PLUS.
For the time being, this video can give some POV indication of how quickly it shifts in Automatic (which is irrelevant to the discussion here - I know):

I don't see what all the fuss is about closing doors... its really similar to mine and its fine. Maybe mine has a more satisfying solid 'clunk,' but its not THAT different. IMO this critisim sounds more like an 'old wife's tale.'

I was worried about that.... shiny black panels are notorious for that (see the pillar between front and back windows on F80 M3). Definitely wouldn't touch it with a brush. Get it polished out and PPF that piece for sure.

No, but Chris Harris commented about it in his review too. I hate the 8-Speed PDK. Major step down from 991 7-Speed IMO. It's not just the slow response time, it's the disconnected feel of the 8-speed. It no longer has any feel, just numb and disconnected. Really hope Porsche refines/remedies it with software updates.

Weird...interior engine sound really sounds different than my 991.2 4S. It sounds WORSE... more 'turbo/ semi truck like' and less 'howl.' Surprising because its same engine?

OMG where can I sign? I’m seriously just about to go to my Porsche lady and throw my beautiful new leather wrapped key in her face. I mean, tell me Cautery, opening the frunk is basically not possible anymore. After the third or fourth time touching the nose / crest, it EVENTUALLY pops open IF the car is in a good mood. Opening & closing the car by simply touching ANY part of the handle? Nope, but thanks for trying!
Save your money on keyless go!

I really can't imagine Porsche engineers not have sorted out these kinds of basic functions before the launch!

I also drive slower with my stick because of feeling more connected to the car, deriving more satisfaction. That's me, do disrespect intended for PDK owners.

No, but it's good to hear it is fast. Maybe the pre-production/presser Chris Harris was driving (and the brand new panamera loaner i was driving) have older software. What car are you coming from? Did you have a 991 PDK prior?

Trust me, you cannot compare a Panamera with a 911...
