yep, was loaned a convertible with spasm, it wasn’t a great ride on a cold day in the uk, plus I didn’t get on with a sharp incline and the front splitter.

I have a 992 SPASM without PDCC and just purchased a Taycan Turbo with PDCC. I have to say that the PDCC on the Taycan is transformative, easily the most impressive suspension technology I’ve experienced. The ride quality in the Taycan is better than our full size Range Rover. I’m not sure how it feels in the 992 but from what I know of how it operates in the Taycan, the 992 seems more suited to SPASM and no additional suspension nannies.

SOMEBODY please can tell me if in the normal drive (not pressed the pasm button), so in comfort mode......if compare the turbo S vs carrera S both 992, which one is softer or are the same in the front and rear suspension ??? i will like to buy the most confortable one 911....please someone drove one and then the other to compare it ???????
ahhh im think to buy both with pdcc....
the thing is if the turbo s are stiffer compare to carrera S ????
note: i saw a video in you tube comparing the GTSvs Carrera S and the conclusion was that the Carrera S is softer in normal mode and street. But i cannot find a comparison of turbo s vs carrera s....i hope someone test it and help me...thanks to all of you. ( i live in chile south america and here the street are not good, many bumps every where and that is why im wondering about the best suspension).-

My 992 TTS has a smoother more compliant ride then my 991.2 GTS when both are in normal mode.
My dealership tells me that the suspension in the TTS has the most comfortable ride of all 911 models.

I had a 992 C2S without PDCC and now have a 992 C4S with PDCC. Both with SPASM. The PDCC equipped car has a noticeably more comfortable ride. Plus the flat cornering is cool. I’m glad that I have PDCC.

acr89 , thanks for all your advice.....please let me ask you this :
-did you drive the turbo S ?? for compare it to the S...... someone toll me that the turbo S is softer then the S, but i dont know if that is true.
-do you know if with spasm you loose something in the confort ????
(i love porsche but i have a problem in my spin so today i love the idea to drive the most confortable porshe 911 that i can configure to me. I undesteand that i have to add pdcc, but it will be more confortable adding the SPASM or it will better thinking in confort to add spasm too)
sorry for ask you all of this,

Regarding if the turbo-S is softer than a C-S, it depends which suspension is specced on each:
PASM C-S is softer than PASM TT-S
S-PASM C-S is softer than S-PASM TT-S
S-PASM C-S is stiffer than PASM TT-S
With S-PASM you definitely loose on comfort for improved handling,, but everyone has a different threshold to what is an acceptable compromise.

Hated PDCC on my 991.1 and 991.2 and have avoided it like the plague ever since; it made the car feel artificial and less enjoyable when driven hard.
If you have a comfort spec then maybe worthwhile, it certainly made driving over bumps when in straight line less uncomfortable. I absolutely hated it, made me regret every minute of driving car on twisties; made the car faster and more efficient and flat but less fun and more artificial feeling. Maybe the 992 system is different. If you love traditional 911 avoid it, if you're all about numbers and comfort get it.

2021 C4S… The PASM used to automatically engage when I put the car into SPORT MODE. But recently only the Sport Exhaust engages in Sport Mode, and I manually need to engage PASM. Does anyone know if the car is supposed to automatically engage PASM when Sport Mode is selected? Thanks!
