991.1 GTS
My recollection is that the above model GTS was introduced in the second half of 2014, so for the US market at least it was considered MY 2015. Porsche kept making these cars through the MY 2016. I cannot recall when the 991.2 GTS came out, but I do not think it was very long after the first 991.2 cars arrived. For the 997 model, I think the Model Years were 2011 and 2012. I recall seeing a 997.2 GTS on a dealer lot after the 991.1 Carrera was available. Others may know better, but I do not recall any 997.1 GTS model. Hope this helps.

On the 991.2 they were all widebody. Meaning you could have rear wheel drive with the widebody just like the GT3.. Very neat.. Now that they're all widebody, what's Porsche going to do to make it special again? Would be nice if they gave it the TTS widebody.

What will make 992 GTS special? Maybe a pair of VTG turbos?
