What an awesome event!!! I was very fortunate to be able to go and would go again every year. PS the panamera GTS looks bad a$$, I loved it

Initial thoughts on 992
The good...
Love the hood
Steering wheel feels racy
Overall very nice looking car, devil is in the details
Stance looks aggressive
Paddle shifters feel SOLID
Its gonna be faaaaast

The bad...
Rear doesn't integrate as well as I would have thought- in person
Spoiler is yuuuge
Where do we put the front license plate?
Center console / nubbin needs to be reworked
Cup holder is going to be intrusive with the manual
All the buttons are plastic/piano black. ALL of them, even on the doors/window. No bueno
Door handles operate unnaturally
Bumper nubbins dont integrate well
Detached exhaust tips look bad in person

This center console will be finger print magnet
Porsche should have different trim or color for it. Otherwise, I am going to place clear protection film on it

Unfortunately, the cupholder was already broken. The spring of one retention arm was not pushing in anymore.....

Didn't really like the wood and the high gloss surfaces. You can see any fingerprint or dusk instantly.

This is subjective. On configurator looks awesome. Real life was less attractive I expected it to be darker. I think the lack of contrast stitching makes a big difference. Leather quality on seats was better than 991. Doors looked cheaper (prob due to piano black buttons and same color stitching). Wood is ok too but not as nice as Mercedes

Thanks for the feedback. Seems like PAG really need to sort out the configurator accuracy, with evident differences in Aventurine Green exterior and now Truffle Brown interior. What's next?

I couldnt put my finger on it until now.. that brown is like the leather jackets from the 70’s!!!! If u know what im talking about then youll know its a very specific shade. Definitely not a “modern” brown

I saw the 992 last week. I loved the exterior (which I was concerned I wouldn’t like) and didn’t like the interior (which I thought I’d love). But in the last few days I’ve sort of convinced myself that my impression of the interior was wrong and it’s probably very nice. But, after seeing these photos, I realize I wasn’t wrong...the interior is not that great. The piano black trim is way overdone and the shifter just looks weird. This is not the interior of a $150k car. For anyone else who has sat in the 992, what to you think.

I have the Truffle interior on my 2019 Cayenne and the Espresso interior on my Carrera. Truffle is a very nice medium brown which is lighter than Espresso. It's about the same shade as the present Saddle Brown for the Panamera. The quality and feel of the Truffle are excellent.
