FYI, Port Jacksonville is a total $hit show right now. They have not allowed any ships to enter port over the past four days because of Debby. Many of the vehicle carriers have either just been slow going while zigzagging or circling around or what not, all while waiting to be allowed to enter port. Nothing as of yet.
Confucius has been there for 2 1/2 days now and for whatever reason Supreme Ace which is currently in Gulf of Mexico is going to be allowed to enter Jacksonville before Confucius. The VPC(s) are now bound to be backlogged. What a mess!
Another odd one is that Glovis Chorus is going to be allowed to enter port prior to Lake Taupo which has been there for days unlike Chorus. First serve policy is not used. Taupo was originally scheduled to enter port on the 5th.

Debby is still somewhat camped out. Still circling about on the coast of Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina.
well, uncontrollable. My SA also said there are a ton of vehicles sitting at port waiting on truck pick up. I’m in East TN. Not too far from Jacksonville and my delivery date is showing 8/23.
I hope I am on the Composer with you. But, hoping it makes its way to Jacksonville.... but I see no indication of that! Looks like it stops in Halifax.

rmb1973 - my 992.2 base Carrera has been in Baltimore since 7/30/24 after stopping in RI. SA says it is showing "administrative hold" on his screen, with no clarity what that means, though SA has been really good so I think we are all in the dark. EPA certification pending? No idea really. Will post again if I get any info. Please do the same.

sounds like the EPA hold? Pretty typical on brand new car models, from what I can tell.
