It seems that those cars that made the ship showed in TYD they had arrived in Emden as a completed step which makes sense. If my car were actually in Emden on 2/11, despite the step being grey, then it should have made this ship since it would have been in the port earlier (by three weeks or so in some cases) than the cars that made the ship. The simplest answer is that my car is not in Emden and has not yet been shipped from the factory. What's missing is why.
Yeah, I am starting to think the same thing.
My car was released for transport on 2/28. Next step 7 milestone date (arrival at port) was to be March 9. I assumed since my map image has shown my car at Emden since that March 9 date that it has been at the port. However, step 7 still is grayed out, and the date never moved later (still shows March 9) so maybe not at the port after all. Who knows. I am going to check in with my SA to see if by slight chance his system is showing anything more. Will report back.

My SA just confirmed for me that my car is still at the factory. They're trying to chase down why. So, this tells me that applies to all of us whose "arrived at port" status is still grey - those cars are still at the factory, not at or near Emden, even if that step shows a date in the past.

Hmmm, I am sure the same for me then. Dare I guess we could be back to the old waiting for a Bose amp issue? Hope not.

Possible it's Bose but my SA checked for me prior to my car locking and we'll after my last change to confirm Bose was good. That was late December or early January. I suspect this is related to my choice of interior (chalk and grey). Which interior did you configure?
Hello all-
I'm the newbie here. Finally got my allocation yesterday and order placed today after 13 months. I'm very psyched.
911 Carrera S Coupe Ice Grey Metallic with Graphite Blue leather and chalk stitching. MANUAL.
Let my wait begin!

I have the blk leather w sportex / chalk stitch combo. Now that you say it, I seem to recall some member here posted a list of option delays, and some interiors were indeed on it. Just seems odd that we would reach the released for transport stage without an interior? Also, I know I can see on my TYD pics my seats and dash are all in place in the final picture.
I also confirmed that Bose was good and the order never got kicked back for selecting it. However, that doesn’t mean that there’s no delay with the amps, so I guess could be that.

I'm not saying it's the whole interior, it's just one piece. My car photos showed a seemingly complete interior too. It just takes one non-critical part to hold the car up but still allow it to show as production complete and released for transport. My SA is trying to chase down the exact delay but they probably won't get an answer until tomorrow given the time difference with Germany.

ahh. Yes, that makes sense. My SA is looking into this as well so will be interesting to see if they both come to similar conclusion. Will keep this updated as I learn more.
After 14 months, I picked up my car last night. It's more beautiful than I could have hoped. I wish everyone the same happiness I have today. Hang in there and remember that waiting is part of the process. We chose to configure our cars and each one is one of one. The wait is worth it. Good luck everyone!
