I also got assigned to Glovis Chorus. TYD says on vessel is 11/12 and arrives at Benicia 12/10. Interesting that we are seeing different dates for the same ship...

Yes, I shared both of those schedules. The one I posted today is the most recent one. Also, keep in mind that these are estimates at this point. Final arrival date will depend on when the ship actually leaves Emden and at that point, you’ll be able to track the ship live.

my car arrived Emden 10/12 heading for Benicia . I have not received any ship info other then estimated date on vessel is 11/05 . hopefully all will fall into place !

Fairly similar overall series of delay schedule I have had with my Macan GTS coming to CA. It sat at Emden for just about a month before finally getting on a ship on Oct 18. It is my understanding that there are no TPMS installs at Emden, so if its coming up that you have a TPMS campaign, be prepared for that to be forthcoming upon arrival causing more delays (either port or after it gets to the dealer). My car is set to arrive in CA on Nov 12 but now the dealer ETA is 12/10, so another tacked on month possible. Another member has the exact same schedule as mine with their GT4, so hopefully this is just a general ETA estimate spit out by the system and ends up sooner.

Your car is gorgeous and I love those wheels with the Targa. I am waiting on a Targa GTS allocation. Hopefully that happens before I am too old the drive the thing. I wish they offered the Carerra Clasics on the GTS. I liked them better than the Spyder on the Targa and I don’t want the center lock Turbo wheels. I wonder if they will let me spec the car with the Classics if/when the time comes.
Regarding your build, why not get a Targa 4s? There's not a tremendous difference and if you're not completely enamored by the specific interior details, you can spec the car the way you want. Just a thought. That being said, a Targa 4s allocation won't be any easier to come by than a Targa GTS, most likely.
