Why couldn't they simply just put a nice leather covered sliding version that comes out the right side of the transmission hump? Something you simply push in when not in use? Make it an option. My lord, they gave us the passenger hand-cuffs, certainly they can think up something better than this.

Now I want a 992 just for that old school 911 font - I'd model delete the mismatched font for Carrera though and just leave 911 centered under PORSCHE - hoping they keep that as an option.

They oughta just use the space for an unobtrusive LCD panel that lets you choose from a variety of logos or P-emoji . Or better yet lets you enter your own.

Agreed. We don't know that this is the actual typeface yet, but either way, it sums up my thoughts on the 992 exterior and interior changes: An amalgamation of old and new design elements that just doesn't really seem to work too well.

If the brake "button" works as It appears, it's a push/pull type of thing that everyone is using. That space at the opening of the cup holder leaves room for your finger to pull.

Why do they feel the need to put "911" there??? Does Porsche even think it will get mixed up with something else? (then again they did this on the 991.X also)
Just put Carrera, Carrera S, Carrera GTS, in script *or* maybe just the 911 in block as on option. The mixture of font's looks a little stupid to me.

Ironic, though, that when someone doesn't like a particular thing, someone is screwed up, overthinking it or something else, rather than just realizing there are many, many other equally valid opinions and tastes out there.
Of course, I'd delete the model designation, too, so there is that.
