911 turbo 50 anniversary
#31
I was intrigued by the exclusivity of the 50th anniversary just like I enjoy my PTS 911’s vs non PTS cars.
this would be my 5th 911 in the past 3 years and I’ve never paid over msrp.
I understand on the exclusive models (Dakar, S/T, etc) paying an ADM - however on this model I wasn’t sure if it was warranted.

You are looking at a 300k build plus 50k ADM. you are getting awfully close to sport classic money if you want to truly have something special and exclusive.

I’ve got one on order here in the UK, no PTS or markup. Happened very quickly and spec doesn’t lock down until early October.
Very aware it’s cosmetic but I do like it a lot. I’m convincing myself it will be the last non hybrid Turbo (yeah right😉
Also got an allocation for a GT3 but very unsure as my manual Touring hurts me after a life changing accident/surgery🥹

Yea most of my stores are at 50-60k over. This FL store at 35k seems like a decent deal compared to the market.

This is the LAST pure ICE Turbo. GM at dealer has even confirmed too. I wish they did something a little more special, regardless, if you're a big turbo fan, this would be the one to keep!

The exclusivity of the Turbo 50 does nothing for me. For even money I’d take a 2024 Heritage TTS PTS over a 2025 Turbo 50 PTS.

All these "special" models are kind of funny if you really sit back and look at them. But I would agree, the ST is a bit more special.
The SC is almost humorous. Detuned manual turbo with gold badges? It attracts the guys who like to have things because others can't IMO. ( I think we all get sucked into this a bit, myself included)
Like the other fella said a nicely spec Turbo with Heritage and PTS, that's a cool machine!
Again, this is all perspective. For regular guys with some wealth. The guys with F U money, nothing matters, buy it all just to have.

Isn't there going to be a manual turbo 992.2? There seems to be a lot of interest on that version. (Me included). While a GT3 Touring with a manual is appealing, A Turbo with a manual - while different, looks like a good combo. A very comfortable car with a manual and lots of power.
